Important Update

Hello, thank you for visiting our website. We are excited to announce that we are becoming the newly formed Southwest Comprehensive Center (Region 9). In addition to serving Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas, we will also be serving Oklahoma and New Mexico. The current content of this website reflects resources from the 2019-2024 Region 14 Comprehensive Center, managed by Westat under a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The new 2024-2029 Region 14 Comprehensive Center serves the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE).

Stay tuned for a Southwestern makeover as we transition to the Southwest Comprehensive Center (Region 9).

Talent Management Alignment Workbook

The following modules are a brief introduction to the Talent Management Alignment Workbook, which outlines eight steps to assess the strength of alignment among talent management policies and practices across multiple state-level programs and/or initiatives. It guides leaders of state education agencies (SEAs) through the process of assessing the current state of alignment within and between talent management practice areas and developing recommendations to move toward a more coherent system.

As a starting point, these modules provide an overview of some key concepts and terms discussed throughout the workbook, as well as an overview of each of the eight steps to move toward talent management system alignment.

The full workbook can be downloaded at the end of the course.
