Texas

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) works to improve outcomes for all public school students in the state by providing leadership, guidance, and support to school systems. The Region 14 Comprehensive Center supports the agency’s work across four strategic priorities:

  • Recruit, support, and retain teachers and principals

  • Build a foundation of reading and math

  • Connect high school to career and college opportunities

  • Improve low-performing schools

Please visit the TEA website for more information about Texas’s strategic priorities, goals, and action plans.
