Welcome to the Teacher Apprenticeships: Voices from the Field podcast series! In this limited series we will explore the impact of Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Programs (R-TAPs) in Region 5 Comprehensive Center and Region 14 Comprehensive Center states. Each episode uncovers the unique experiences of educators and apprentices participating in these programs. Teacher apprenticeships enhance teacher training and retention and build thriving academic communities from within.
We will hear from leaders who collaborate with Tennessee’s Grow Your Own Center, Dallas College in Texas, Western Kentucky University, and more. Apprentices, mentor teachers, district leaders, and education preparation providers will all offer valuable advice and insights on hosting and participating in R-TAPs.
