About Rachel Korelitz

Rachel supports the Region 14 Comprehensive Center evaluation team. Through data collection and analysis, Rachel sees the impact of our collaborative efforts with a high level of granularity.

Rachel brings almost a decade of experience in secondary education studies, training, and data collection and analysis. She supports multiple research studies at Westat around gender equality in higher education.

 

Career Highlights

  • Rachel’s data collection and analysis support for the Region 14 Comprehensive Center helped the Louisiana Department of Education increase funding and partner with individuals and organizations to supply personal protective equipment and COVID-19 tests to school districts.

  • At Westat, Rachel supports multiple secondary education research projects, including the Association of American Universities’ Climate Survey on Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct (2019) and data collections required by the Clery Act, the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act, and the Higher Education Opportunity Act (2013-present).

  • From 2016 to 2018, Rachel contributed to a comprehensive evaluation of Teach for America (TFA), interviewing alumni, students, teachers, and program staff about their experiences with the TFA-NYC program.
