About Sherelle Foust

(She/Her/Hers)

As the Effective Instruction Lead at the Region 14 Comprehensive Center, Sherelle provides strategic advice and organizational planning to project leads, breaking down complex issues to create comprehensible data that results in effective solutions.

The culmination of her experiences in public education, from providing students with individualized therapy to leading teacher recruitment for the seventh largest U.S. school district, and directing strategic planning and data for district counseling, allows her to relate to our clients at both state and local levels. With over 20 years of experience working with students, in roles that directly and immediately impact them, Sherelle brings a panoramic view and critical perspective to successfully lead projects at scale.

Career Highlights

  • Sherelle launched a successful college and career readiness program through strategic planning and forming essential relationships with building leaders, college program directors, and central district office staff, resulting in a 75 percent increase in students receiving college credits, for the first time, through dual credit and Advanced Placement (AP) programming.

  • Sherelle hired and developed a district-level leadership team that addressed new state education legislation. This effort included leading a team of new members through strategic planning and creating a platform to capture and monitor data while concurrently leading a districtwide cross-functional team to meet requirements for a separate state House bill. This strategic work impacted over 6,000 students, increased student and staff participation by over 30 percent, and resulted in completion of over 1,500 state-required graduation plans.

  • Sherelle led a teacher recruitment and selection team to a 50 percent gain of prospective teachers and achieved a recruitment season goal of 2,200 teachers hired by the first day of school, resulting in, for the first time, a 100 percent teacher staffing rate. During the same season, she managed introduction of a teacher referral program producing over 1,000 teacher referrals with over 200 hires.
